Border Reivers carried a lot of kit with them all of it useful for surviving and travelling long distances.

The Kit

Shaving and Washing: There is a razor there along with a reflective surface a brush, lip balm and a comb / nit comb. They would also carry linen cloths for washing and drying themselves in seperate clean bags, they also had waterproof bags to protect items from becoming damp. Those who could afford one might also carry a sponge
